PROYECTO: Lengua castellana

Centenario "PLATERO Y YO": El burro mas querido está de aniversario

*Objetivos

-Conocer a Platero, apreciarlo y disfrutar con él. (lectura del libro)
-Desarrollar la competencia digital (ordenadores)

*Borrador de cómo afrontaré el proyecto:

-Prepararé un cuestionario en Driver para ver los conocimientos previos del alumnado
-Elaboraré un libro digital con Calameo explicando las características de proyecto, con indicaciones de lo que se va a trabajar en clase
-Lectura/recitado de fragmentos e imágenes con Windows Movie Maker, que servirán para motivar a los alumnos.

CALAMEO: It is like a book

Before doing the task, I'm looking at some examples. I 'm going to take as a model a book made by one of my ex-workmates. (To see the post in her blog, click in this link). They are 13 short texts to improve reading comprehension.

However, in my case, I'm thinking about pictures and an idea has just come to my mind. Yes, it could be really pretty: A book with images. Then, students must choose one of those pictures and after that, they have to think a story and write a small tale about the story they chose.

Now I'll watch the tutorial. Then, after taking some beautiful and suggestive images on the Internet, I'll register in Calameo. Let's go!

I had some trouble. The images I had weren't in Word, then it was imposible to upload and to publicate them. So, I changed the idea I had.

Eventually, I managed to select 6 fables for my students. Some fables to read, to enjoy themselves, and to speak about them. I also want they to take into account the message of the stories to learn with them.

I noticed that the result was not the expected, because in my Word document, I wrote one fable on each page and on the "book" it has changed and it doesn't appear in the same way as I made in the Word document.

Application form.

I'm going to look at the tutorial before making my own form.

Nire ikasleentzako lana: "Maitaneren ezkutalekua" deitutako ipuina lantzera goaz. Aurreko lotura sakatuta, bi aukera daude: ipuina entzun zein ipuina irakurri. Zeuk aukeratu. Beheko irudiaren neska Maitane bera izan liteke. Ipuina landu ostean, asmatuko duzu zergaitik. Ea ipuina gustatzen zaizun.

Task for my students: We are  going to prepare the following story: "Maitane's hiding place".

Prozedura: Ondoren, galdetegian dauden galderak erantzun, dagokion erantzuna aukeratuz. Galderetan hiruna aukera daude. Behin bukatuta, galdetegia bidali.

How to do: Answer properly to the questions you find on the form. There are three possibilities. After that, send it.

Educational tale: Under the same ceiling (with PREZI)

Now I have to think the teaching proposal for this activity, using prezi presentation.

The following presentation is about an adaptation of the famous tale "Noah's Ark". It is an attractive presentation in which we can see the story through various cartoons that move. Firstly, we could ask to the studens if they know who Noah is. After that, children can look at the picture without reading the text (to make the students think or imagine) and tell each other in small group what the tale is about. This will improve oral proficiency. Then, we will read the information to improve their read ability.

At the end of the presentation, they sould do a variety of activities that can complete the task. For example, the answer to this question: what is the moral of the story? And also they would have to list the qualities or the differences of some animals. There would be included writing skills, such as some questions about the story, even phrases with gaps to fill, or list of adjetives, nouns, verbs...

Gu are going to start

This is my first post in the blog. It is time to learn new skills in this amazing and endless field, over all so attractive for students.
This one is not my first blog, but from now on, it will be my preference. I have to say three years ago when I was at another school, I had to face new technologies with 5th and 6th level students, but when I started at my last school I didn't use to use computers too much because of the fact I worked as a 2nd level students' teacher and they didn't have personal pc-s. In addition we had few, old and bad computers at school. That is why I've forgotten a lot in these last three years. However, I'm glad to start this course to learn new tools in order to use in language subjects .
Finally, I'll try to do in English to improve my writing because I'm studying English language. But sometime it's likely to be written in Basque language too.
